Description

In Norse mythology, the ox is the symbol of man’s ability to master the uncontrollable forces of nature embodied by the bull – but does not disperse its beneficial effects. The ox therefore embodies the dominion over the irrational. It is the animal that represents wealth, as a direct source of food (for his meat) and indirectly (for his work).
The bull is a symbol of uncontrollable and dangerous strength, fertility and fulfilling of life.
Sometimes the spirits of magical or guardians beings appear in the aspect of the bull, especially when they have to fight, attack, protect or threaten someone. In this case their symbology is sometimes confused with that of the ox.

The jewels of the collection MITI are inspired by mythical characters or events.
