PERUVIAN MYTH ABOUT THE TEXTILE OF THE UNIVERSE
According to the Peruvian tradition, the man is just a thread in the textile of the life. The great spirit Kamaq is the weaver. The guardian spirits Apukuna and Aukikuna have the task to verify that everything will happen as prescribed by the big textile of the universe and, because of that, they must be sure that every thread is well intricate with the others threads. If a human being makes a false move, they will correct him or they’ll tell him that he isn’t taking his own path.
The square-shaped pendant takes the cue from the Peruvian idea, which believes that the square represents the earth as a material entity, as a totality, and that it is even the archetype of the universal creation.
The jewels of the collection MITI are inspired by mythical characters or events.
