Description

The pendant depicts the symbol ‘etua (deity) or aki’ei (the crab) used in the tradition of the Marches Islands to represent the human being. The four twisted limbs represent the flexibility and liberation of the soul as the flexibility of the crab body after the mud. It therefore represents change, the transition from one life to another, eternity (in the sacred sense) and the bond with the ancestors.

The jewels of the collection GIRAMONDO are inspired by pieces of ethnic art or by details contained in them.
